For example, you shouldn't extrapolate Squall's shoe size or the size of his Griever pendant from the toy exactly because it is just a toy.

If so, that's the problem: Just because the toys are "official", it doesn't mean attributes of the toys are as well. I assume you took the actual size of the weapons as from the proportion of the toys and the official height of the character. So you keep saying, but where's your proof? - Memegui 00:04, 6 December 2008 (UTC) I guess its a good thing this is not made up than. Blue Highwind 23:34, 3 December 2008 (UTC) If this value is made up it should be deleted (Revolver also?) - Memegui 02:28, 5 December 2008 (UTC) In FFVIII, you're not supposed to use your brain.

I'd very much like to see these official sources and/or mathematical equations since a google search shows this page is the only one that makes a mention of this ( ). It seems very improbable (but not impossible) that it's bigger than him, so I checked the videos some more and made some rough comparisons /img254/654/lionheartsizenq9.jpg, the white lines are the size of the sword in each screen, I tried to overestimate it a bit but the sword always seems a bit shorter than him. I Lion Heart I 16:57, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Like I said, I looked through some FF8 battle videos on youtube, obviously I didn't consider only the blade's size but all of it, this article says it's 176.3 cm long while the Squall article says he's only 173 cm tall. If they based everything on realism it would be a pretty rubbish fantasy. If they based everything on realism it would be pretty boring.and dark. Hmmm I wish Square could be more realistic when designing their weapons.- Ratatosk/Zolo 04:24, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Next question? Netherith 04:19, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Zolo, my sources are official square merchandise. Also in all battle appearances the gunblades are held at such an angle that it is difficult to get an accurate measurement. Netherith where exactly do you get your sources from?- Ratatosk/Zolo 02:33, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Memegui you're probably looking at just the blade, which is three quarters the listed size. Where did this measurement come from? - Memegui 02:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Looked at some videos and the sword looks definitely shorter than him. If you have a problem with this being too 'surreal' please refer to Cloud's Buster Sword or Sephiroth's katana. There have been such comparisons and mathematical equations made to support this. Compare its length (in any media aside from Kingdom Hearts) to Squall. The sword is as tall as Squall? I don't think so.
